I DID IT!

After having in that sew in weave for about 3 or so days i took it out.

I was talking to my dad and he said "I thought you had on a wig this whole time" O_O
Yea....that with the physical pain of getting a sew in directly after taking out micros was ridiculous!

So I CUT IT! Here are some pix!

What's in my closet?

We recently converted "Toni Montana's" room into a closet/salon, and these are the results...

Candids :)

Well, my family is the most important thing to me. We are ridiculously close but as we grow older the thought that we will all be departing is a scary one, for me. JuiciMo just got into USC and Naturalmony will be graduating from there this May. Real estate is really picking up and I'll be getting my residential contractors and brokers license this summer. Needless to say, we are all very busy and time for us all comes few and far between.

So this weekend my mom decided to take us all for the our first pedicures of the Spring, along with our cousin who is basically a sis. Here are some pictures!

(I'm in lust with JuiciMo's hair!)

(I'm DEFINITELY jealous that Naturalmony gets to wear out her TWA!)

After I went back to work (,-_-) and the girls continued on.

*As you all can tell, I'm the "picture taker", smh, If it werent for me we would have no pix.

Later we met back up to check out USC's campus (A kind of lighting of the torch from one to another :) ).

Afterwards we went to Ihop....

All was well, until......a ROACH jumped on JuiciMo's arm!

Initially the waiter just thought we wanted out of our ticket until I snapped these of the culprit!

Nicole ranted about how we would NEVER go back to Ihop, until we got a gift card, then we decided we coould go to another location, lol.

Well thats about it!
I know we have been slack, but things should be better and a bit slower once summer comes!!

Happy 2 Month Anniversaryyyyyyyyyyy! (I'm late!)

Hello All:

I know its been a while since you heard from me.  I have been so stressed out with my final semester of school that I couldn't enjoy getting to know my hair. :(  My two month anniversary (3-17-11) came and went! So on Saturday March 19th I decided to display my hair for the 1st time outside my home. It was epic, and the most liberating experience besides the day I cut it all off.  Now I am planning to go to a school function tomorrow and make it official!  Now without further ado, enjoy the video and photo shoot. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to hit me up.

My New Do :)

So my braids were getting TIRED!

I had my little cousin redo my crown but I was just bored and tired of the look!

My sister jokingly suggested sewing in weave and I said  yes.

Its my first ever, I'm sort of anti weave (aside from braids) but I like it, just ALOT to get used to!

My sometimey passion.

Well I know my sisters have been contributing to our blog but as a Senior in highschool I've been quite busy!!! Something that I do make time for, first as a hobby and now as a source of some pocket change, is doing hair! For the past 4 or so years I have been experimenting with my hair, using dyes, cutting (including the whole side of my hair) and gluing in weave. My friend had a Indian Jerry weave that I loved and went online to see where I could purchase it. After Googling I found a video of Adrianna Thomas and from that video I watched hundreds of videos on the art of sewing in weave.

After asking my sister to braid my hiar in one of the patterns,  and sewed in my own weave.
This is just a small collection of random "heads" that I have done over the past month or so. I started doing sew ins in December of 2010, and since then my fingers have been going none stop!
My current hairstyle as of the 20th of February. 16 and 18inch 1B color, for added layers. Beehive braiding pattern. Straight Bang.

No leave out full sew-in 8inch. For a more natural realistic look, red highlights. Side Bang.

Partial Sew in , 10 and 12 inch. Leave out in the front to push back hair.Side Bang.

Leave out in the front( the larger braid). Side Bang.
No braids or tracks showing, a natural look, thick and full.

Full Sew in, with invisible part, 14 and 16inch 1B, light layering and curls, Middle Part.

Partial sew in, leave out all around. 12 and 14 inch 1B, Side Bang.

Full Sew in Outre Body wave,, for Feathering, 1b 18 inch.Middle Part.
Partial Sew in, 12inch First Remy, 1B, layers and feathering.
Most clients use AFRO brand Minky Yaki, it's an inexpensive weaving hair, whatever the inch. is usually the cost. Ex. 12 inchs $11.99. Has a relaxed African American texture.

nicole_fulton2001@yahoo.com $30 for sew-in $35 with invisible part $40 sewn in invisible part,$15 for take out, $20 for retighten and wash $15 redo invisible part.
