If its good for me to eat, then its good for my hair.

Tomorrow will make 3 weeks since I joined #teamnatural and went for the big chop. Since that time I have been asked the same question Why did I do it? Did I cry? . The answer to these two questions are NO, and NO! I went natural because I was ready for a change, I wanted to try something new. I had always been accustomed to the shoulder length and me avoiding the scissors was like a dog avoiding a bath.

Maybe I should have waited a little longer but the fact is, I'm bald and their is nothing I can do about it but enjoy it. Cutting my hair has been the best thing since sliced bread. I no longer have to avoid water in the shower or in the rain at all costs. In fact the other day it was raining and I didn't have an umbrella and you know what I did? I pulled off my wig and walked to my car. It was the most liberating feeling. Never in 22 years would I ever think it was okay to get my hair wet and now I wet my hair every chance I get.

My Regimen:

So I started a semi-regimen. On  the 1st  Saturday I co-washed my hair with taliah waajid conditioner. The 2nd Bottle on the right.  Then I followed it up with each of the products to the left of it. I used the taliah waajid moisturizer and then followed it up with the Hawaiin Silk to activate my curls.  I then used Hot Six Oil and greased my hair.

Here is a picture of my current hair. It grew!! Its so easy and manageable.

I purchased this naked drink from Food Lion on Last Monday and thought it was disgusting. So then I decided I would use it as a protein wash.  It was great I mixed it with 2 eggs and left it in my hair for one hour. The smell was great and my hair was so soft.
